Fixing it is. Glad that's settled. Biggest question, where to start?

Perhaps a RP *Mock gasp* Most people like traditional roleplays, so I might have an idea or two for some of those. May take a little while, as I only have ideas currently. Feel free to add in anything you want. I'll have an interest check up shortly.

Just a thought.
Maybe we can try to bring back or restart older RP ideas like Ruby's Boys vs. Girls or UA's Cult of Rowan. But like I said... just a thought.

Hmmm...You see...the problem with site...is all of the OOC and off-topic stuff we have going on...no-one sticks around for the RPs, because they get too boring, what with the OOC stuff. Then, the interest dies, and when they feel like RPing again, nothing that's been up looks good...but...since people seem to come to forums more to post out of habit...I think we should do away with a few of the off topic subjects...prune the RP areas to get rid of anything that hasn't been touched in two months or more, and go through staff and members and pluck out the ones that haven't been around in the past say...five months...if nothing else, it'll at least get rid of some of the inactivity and leave room for people's creative flows...lmao

Also...I think Ruby just said that on the last page...but....I'm making it official now...that's what's gonna happen. It's Friday, January 02 here...so next Friday, Unknown Assassin and myself will be doing all of that. Then...afterwards...I'm gonna go look for an active RP to join on the forum...

Sure thing RC. My only concern is that it will make the forum look to small to get more interest quickly. As new members are the best way to bump up activity.

We may also like to send a board wide message through the Admin tools now, to inform people of this 'pruning'. That might attract some people back that forgot about the site.

That's what I was thinking, send a forum wide email. It can't be a newsletter though, because if we did that, we'd have to administrate everyone's profile to make sure it's set in the preferences that they receive them, xD!

Anyways, I was thinking we do that maybe tonight or tomorrow morning, so that anyone still wanting to hang around will have a chance to get back here before next Friday. Then we'll prune the dead forums, I'll take down the PW sections entirely...because it's just plain getting annoying, right now... And maybe cut back on all the shit we have in the mature section...keep the mature section focused solely RP and Literature.

I'll do it. I'm eating right now though, and I've got two more posts to answer elsewhere, so I'll get it done just as soon as I'm done with those. Why don't you prune through some of the Off-Topic areas for things that've either been started and not carried through, or had a significant loss of interest (Shit that noone's posted in in about four or five months). I think we can cut down on some of that off-topic crap without too much risk to the look of size of the site.

I've cleared out the Persistent world ares, and reduced the Mature Access area to solely literature-based topics. I'll start pruning the topics Modern Fantasy down, unless you can think of anything else that needs to be done before hand?
