Hello everyone. My name is Alex Ross, but here you can call me Rock Splitter or just Rocky if you feel like putting a cute spin on it. I’m an immigrant from another RP site called RPG Forums Online. I’m sure a few of you will recognize me since a lot of those here have come from the same neighborhood. Makes me feel right at home.
I hope to become well acquainted with the rest of you too, so to that end I guess I’ll share a bit about myself.
I first tried my hand at online role-playing a little over a year ago. It was easy enough, since it’s really just the old childhood game of pretend taken to the next level. It was and still is a lot of fun. My writing and imagination has improved a lot since then and still is. I’ve been involved in just about every RP type there is, but I’m at my best when placed into a traditional fantasy setting. Modern is good too. I’m not sure if there’s any one way to describe the kinds of characters I make, but I suppose I’ll have to tackle that some day.
If I could be anything in the world… I think I’d either be a statue or maybe some type of jet aircraft. It is because there are times when I really want to fly and be free and there are also times when I don’t want to move at all; I want stability and permanency. Is that odd to say? My father would say it all depends on perspective.
Any way, I suppose that’s enough for now. I look forward to the time I’ll get a chance to see you all in action. Till then, keep on rocking in the free world.
P.S. I wanted to experiment with a text to speech site I found, so I fed the proceeding transcript into their software and >this< is what came out. It’s kinda funny. I may try it again if I get the chance. (^^)
